Water and greenery as qualitative elements, in terms of identity, environmental sustainability, orientation and rationalization of flows, connection with the pre-existing monuments and as continuous links with the historical center of Rome.

In order to enhance the area and to give it a strong identity, a theatrical illumination system has been imagined for the fountain, aiming to intensify the luminosity of the mirror of water, considering the standards of sustainability established to regenerate the area.

A great public space, an archeological site, an educational park where to learn and hand down the qualities of Roman agriculture. Bodies of water, benches and walls to help the shift of crowd flows to replace the existing car parking. The project invites the observer to imagine to leave the subway and to be immersed into a park that brings the possibilities to stay or leave, to rest or to easily reach the public transports, or to reach the historical center accrossing Piazza della Repubblica, Terme di Diocleziano, or towards the Colosseum.
